An e@rthqu@ke has tumbled buildings and at least five people k!lled after a 6.4 magnitude quake struck southern Taiwan.
The epicenter of the quake was located at a shallow depth of 6.2 miles (10 km), some 19 miles (31 km) east-southeast of Tainan, the USGS said. The quake was initially reported as a magnitude 6.7. There have also been at least five aftershocks.
According to the report,it was going on for about 20 – 30 seconds and it came in waves. It was sh@king and then it eased off, but then it started sh@king even harder.
According US geographers, the e@rthqu@ke was shallow,which would have amplified its effects.
