Nkita Dutta will be playing a Delhi-based character in her upcoming show ‘Ek Duje Ke Vaaste’.Nikita was last seen in Dream Girl, but she quit the show after she felt that the storyline had digressed from its original plot. “In Ek Duje…, I play Suman, a girl who runs her own tiffin service in Delhi. She is calm and composed at home, but quite bold when it comes to facing the outside world. I quit Dream Girl because it was getting monotonous, but this new character is going to be quite a challenge,” she said. Nikita’s parents stay in Delhi and she is looking forward to spending some time with them when the show’s cast and crew come to Delhi. “I didn’t do anything productive during my break after Dream Girl. I didn’t even take a vacation! But we’ve been told that we’ll be shooting in Delhi for the show and I will get to spend some time with my parents who stay here.” Aakanksha Singh was also in contention for the show, but Nikita was chosen as the lead.
